Training will be delivered through LIVE - IN modules.
These modules will be delivered at the Conference Centre at the National Referral Hospital, Honiara, Solomon Islands.
These will be of 2 weeks duration and held 3 times a year in February, June and October.
The course duration will be 5 years.
In addition candidates will have mentoring and supervision visits including support by email and Skype and Moodle(web based learning platform).
The Introductory course will be held every 2 years. It will alternate with the Trauma course.
Candidates may only commence training with the Introductory course or the Trauma course each February.

If you are an orthopaedic surgeon and would like to help us with providing training during the live -in modules at the National Referral Hospital, Honiara please contact us. Please advise which dates you are available and which topics you wish to teach. We will contact you for a CV and will confirm in writing if we can use your skills. Lecturers provide their services on a pro bono basis.
